Malawi Sustainable Farming

Creating a sustainable source of food for Malawi Good News Children's Home

Establishing a sustainable farm and food source requires dedication and effort, but the rewards are immense. During our visit to Good News Children’s Home, we were privileged to not only provide in a comprehensive course on effective farming but also encourage the staff and build relationship for supporting them after we return home.

Our team set up compost piles, flushed irrigation lines, and spent countless hours under the blazing 43°C sun, all driven by the anticipation of a bountiful harvest.

Despite unexpected challenges, like the urgent repairs needed for one of the borehole pumps, our spirits remained high. We successfully restored the pump, ensuring the smooth continuation of our plans.

Every moment spent was a testament to our commitment and hope for a thriving future harvest.
