Mauritius Empowerment Through Infrastructure

Transforming Lives Through Infrastructure

Hope House invests in essential infrastructure that improves living conditions, strengthens community resilience and supports long-term development. In Mauritius, we have installed toilets and septic tanks and introduced rainwater harvesting to improve sanitation and access to water. In Malawi, we have drilled boreholes to provide water for drip-feed irrigation, supporting agricultural production and food security. We have also constructed dormitories and a kitchen at the orphanage, providing essential facilities to improve the children’s living conditions and daily care.

These projects address fundamental needs while creating a foundation for health, dignity, education and self-reliance. By investing in practical, lasting infrastructure, Hope House enables communities to build resilience, improve wellbeing and create better opportunities for future generations.

How your donation will help change lives

Your donations will be used for the equipment required for training, including course material, the project management and training team and fuel for their transport.

Your contribution will make a real difference to alleviating food insecurity, tackling poverty and improving nutrition and health for underprivileged Mauritians.

We believe that partnerships are vital to bring about real, sustainable transformation which tackles the impact of poverty in a nation and we trust that you will feel inspired to join us on this journey.

To ensure the security of your funds, donations are ring-fenced by project.  We will provide you with a report each year showing all donations and expenditure for the Agriculture programs. Hope House is a registered charity in Mauritius and our annual returns are independently audited.
